Calc+ and MiniCalc+ v2.1 By Gerard Hammond

Two fully functional scientific calculators.
**Now includes MiniCalc+ ** - A tiny scientific calculator.

Shareware $10 US dollars or equivalent.
(However your local currency is gladly accepted)
This is a free upgrade to registered users.
Where else can you buy a scientific calculator for less??

=================
Changes in 2.1:
Tweaked x! again. Now it is set to calculate for values 0 to 69.
All other numbers are trapped and reported to the user.
Aligned some visual descrepancies.
Some times an error was detected if you tried to bring up the about box very quickly after loading
the application. Fixed.
Slightly smaller footprint.

Not in 2.1
DEC to HEX conversions. probably in v3. Lots of peple have asked for this.
Other suggestions welcome.
=================

These CASIO style scientific calculators now have:

Constants
14 scientific constants. Includes speed of light, Plancks, Boltzmann, etc.
If you would like your own specific constants then put an extra five dollars in the envelope and don't forget
to include the names, units and values that you want in this Constants PopUp menu.

Tape
Recording tape available for copying old results to the clipboard.
(Tape is not yet available in Minicalc. Sorry. Email me if this a real big problem).

Round
Round numbers to the nearest whole number.

Is available by pressing exp or via the constants PopUpMenu.
( is not available via Constants in MiniCalc).

Sin, Cos, Tan
All calculations are in degrees.
Note. Tan is infinite 90 (+-) 180n where n=0, 1,2,3 and Calc+ realises this.
Also note that calculations on numbers very close to 90+180n can result in a loss of precision. For eg. my casio reports tan (269.95) as 1145.9153 whereas on Calc+ it is 1145.80977366.

ln
Natural Log Function. Represents the natural logarithm (log to the base e) of its integer or real argument x. The argument must be greater than 0.
NOTE: Calc+ returns 0 in this case.

log
Straight forward base 10 log of its integer or real argument x.

10^x
10 to the power of x. The yang of log.

ex
The exponential function represents e (the base of the natural log system) raised to the real of integer power of x.

Square root function of x

x^y
x to the power of y. Raises x to the power of y.

x^1/y
x to the power of inverse y.

%
Percentage Calculation. The percentage function is initiated by pressing % instead of = in a normal division calculation. For example the key combination to work out what percentage 4 of 16 is...

  4 / 16 %

1/x
Inverse of x.

x^2
square of x. ie x time x.

3x
Cube root of x. That is, x to the power of (1/3).

 x!
X factorial. For eg 5! = 5*4*3*2*1.
This function works up to 69! (Actually it prbably works above this number but Calc+ has been limited to numbers less than 1.0E+100. However if you need larger numbers, this can be arranged. See Constants.
The bounds for this function have been set at 0-69

M in, Min 2, Min 3, Min 4.
Four memory registers available for storage of users numbers. These buttons replace the current contents of the approriate register with the current number.

M+ (and popups)
Add the current number to one of the selected registers.

** MiniCalc ** can be dragged around the screen by dragging the title bar.

Future plans:
User defineable number significant figures. (Actually it is half implemented, but my PhD thesis must come first).
Button to switch between Radian/Degrees modes.
All other suggestions are most welcome.

I hope you like this programme.

Disclaimer.
Use this programme at your own risk. While every attempt has been made to double check the results
I cannot be certain that everything works perfectly, especially with very large or very small numbers.
If you find bugs or want any extra functions then please E-mail me and I'll see what I can do.

Best regards
